Reuters reported on Sunday that according to Mastercard Inc; U.S. retail sales rose 8.5% during this year’s holiday shopping season from Nov. 1 to Dec. 24, powered by soaring ecommerce sales.

The New York Times reported the same 8.5 percent taken from the same report published on Sunday by Investors.Mastercard.com.

When Biden Bits was published on Christmas Eve, President Biden had not tweeted. He ended up with a Christmas Eve Tweeting Total of 1 tweet and 0 retweets.

So, um, yeah, when I searched “Children’s National Hospital” via Twitter, I got this…

So, I googled Children’s National Hospital Seacrest Studios and got this via the Children’s National.org

Seacrest Studios makes every patient at Children’s National feel like a star.

Established by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation in 2015, our state-of-the-art facility gives kids an interactive space to explore radio, television and social media, share their on-air talents and participate in entertaining programs that are broadcast directly to patient rooms.
Our studio is the ultimate playroom, providing fun games, arts and crafts and other creative outlets that contribute to the healing process for children and families dealing with illness. On any given day, you can find patients hosting their own shows on topics ranging from sports to science or singing and dancing to their favorite karaoke songs. Our 920 square-foot, glass-fronted studio located in the Costco Wholesale Atrium gives visitors an up-close glimpse into the fun activities happening inside. There’s also more than enough room to host birthday/graduation celebrations, concerts, costume parties and more.

What makes our studio truly unique is that patients who are unable to leave their rooms can virtually interact with guests and celebrities who visit the studio. By tuning into our station, WPAW-90 (channel 90), patients can participate by calling in to request a song, answer daily trivia questions and win prizes.

Since opening, we have produced 100 original programs while welcoming more than 15,000 visitors. Celebrity guests have included Ryan Seacrest, First Lady Michelle Obama, singers Meghan Trainor and Lana Del Ray, Major League Baseball player Bryce Harper and more.

Seacrest Studios can also be found at several children’s hospitals across the country, including Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Denver, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Orange County (California) and Nashville.

Children’s National.org

I found this from WKID33-Seacrest Studios posted on December 10th…

Their Twitter Bio.

I found this info via Ryan Seacrest Foundation.org under the tab locations…

*We build broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, in pediatric hospitals for patients to explore the creative realms of Radio, Television and New Media, that will aid in the healing process for children and their families during their stay. Seacrest Studios are used to provide a variety of programming to the patients in the hospitals, whether they are physically in studio or watching through a closed-circuit network from their in-room TV screen.

Ryan Seacrest Foundation.org.

As of December 26th, 2021; they say on the map there are 11 Seacrest Studios in Children’s Hospitals…

I went a little further than needed at this point, we are aware the hospital itself has a studio, but well, yeah, I over did it and found that last year on December 15th, 2020, then-First Lady Melania Trump also used Seacrest Studio’s for her visit to the same hospital…

You can click play and see the sign in the first seconds of her video taped visit…

As I went down the rabbit hole this was also mentioned; Costco Wholesale Atrium as being proof the event was staged in a Costco with a Seacrest Studio…

So, of course I googled it and found via the Children’s Hospital news and events page that in 2018 they; Children’s National Health System officially dedicated its main atrium as the Costco Wholesale Atrium in recognition of Costco’s longtime support for children in the Washington region. In a ceremony that featured Kurt Newman, M.D., president and CEO of Children’s National and Joe Portera, executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Eastern and Canadian divisions of Costco Wholesale, the hospital unveiled signage honoring Costco Wholesale as one of its most generous corporate partners.

To be fair, I managed to find the information needed to debunk the dumbass tinfoil’s in less than 10 minutes; hell even with my slight detours, I was done in around 20 minutes…

*Having spent time at UCLA Medical Center Pediatric unit I can say the idea of “play” with sick kids is very much encouraged by staff and doctors as a way to encourage normal kid like behavior and healing. One child not mine but a patient had been in the hospital for 2 months it was not uncommon at 2 a.m., this 4 year-old to be up in the halls with his mom and nurse dragging him around in a wagon. He was adorable even at 2 a.m…*

President Biden has a Christmas Day Tweeting Total of 4 tweets and 0 retweets.

Their full Christmas statement:

On behalf of our family, we wish a merry Christmas to everyone in the United States and around the world who is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the promise of hope and renewal.

During this season of joy, we are inspired by the countless Americans who are a reminder that the things we hold sacred unite us and transcend distance, time, and even the constraints of a pandemic: faith, family, and friendship; a love of the arts, learning, and nature; gratitude, service, and community; unity and peace. These are the gifts from the heart.

Looking back at this year, we’ve seen enormous courage, character, resilience, and resolve in all of you who heal, comfort, teach, and protect and serve in ways big and small. You show there is much to gain in appreciation and gratitude for the gift of time and goodwill we share as we look out for one another. Again and again, you show how our differences are precious and our similarities infinite.

We are also keeping in our prayers all of you who have lost loved ones during this pandemic and for whom this Christmas falls on heavy hearts. We pray for you to find strength from sorrow and purpose from pain.
We pray for our service members and their families, and thank them for their service and sacrifice.

And, for the nation, we pray for the promise found in Scripture – of finding light in the darkness, which is also perhaps the most American of things to do.

As we celebrate our first Christmas in the White House, we see the world through the eyes of the Child born on this day – of hope and love, peace and joy, and of the light that shines within us all.
This sacred season is yet another reminder that we are a great nation because we are a good people.

We are forever humbled and grateful to serve as your President and First Lady.
Merry Christmas, America.

The below YouTube is 4 minutes and 44 second long. The tweeted video is 8 minutes and 27 seconds long. Their remarks end at the 4 minute and 43 second mark; the rest of the tweeted video is just dead air saying “thanks for joining us.” Their full remarks can be found here.

As we all know by now, some guy said “Let’s Go Brandon,” the MAGA’s way of saying “fuck you” to President Biden to President Biden’s face, well over the phone…

The guy and the guys “defenders” say; he was just explaining his frustration and joking and in Merica’ he is free to say that to President Biden’s face…

They aren’t wrong he can say it to President Biden’s face or ear whatever…

But the beauty of Mercia’ is I can also say he’s a stupid fucking moron because he said the stupid “Let’s Go Brandon” to President Biden or just in general; I saw a “Let’s Go Brandon” sticker on a gas pump the other night and said to the air “fucking morons,” as I rolled my eyes.

President Biden has a Day After Christmas Tweeting Total of 2 tweets and 0 retweets…

At this time there is not a statement or proclamation on Kwanzaa posted to White House.gov.

I did find this via Demo;

Again, with a quick google search later we find that according to History.com and Share.America.com; Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday it’s a week long celebration modeled after the traditional African harvest festivals. Kwanzaa was taken from the Swahili phrase “matunda ya kwanza” which means “first fruits.”

With another google search I found this from 2017…

I was in fact searching for how many people in the U.S. celebrate the not religious celebration when I found the above statement from 2017…

It’s about 9 million estimated people in the U.S., that participate in the week long celebration of Kwanzaa.

President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden’s full statement;

On this morning after Christmas, we are heartbroken to learn of the passing of a true servant of God and of the people, Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa.

We were blessed to spend time with him on several occasions over the past many years. His courage and moral clarity helped inspire our commitment to change American policy toward the repressive Apartheid regime in South Africa. We felt his warmth and joy when we visited him during the 2010 World Cup that celebrated the diversity and beauty of his beloved nation. And, just a few months ago, we joined the world in celebrating his 90th birthday and reflecting on the power of his message of justice, equality, truth, and reconciliation as we confront racism and extremism in our time today.

Born to a school teacher and a laundress and into poverty and entrenched racial segregation, Desmond Tutu followed his spiritual calling to create a better, freer, and more equal world. His legacy transcends borders and will echo throughout the ages.

On behalf of the Biden family, we send our deepest condolences to his wife Leah and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And on behalf of the people of the United States, we send our deepest condolences to the people of South Africa who are mourning the loss of one of their most important founding fathers.

May God bless Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
