When Biden Bits was posted for Monday, President Biden had tweeted 2 times. He added 3 tweets giving him a Monday Tweeting Total of 5 tweets and 0 retweets.

President Biden’s tax day tweets

The video is 24 seconds long. I don’t know who the voice over is, the video does not say…

Mystery Lady: If Republicans pass their tax plan, 75 million middle class families will see their taxes go up by nearly $1500 dollars. If President Biden passes his tax plan? They won’t. No one making under $400,000 dollars will pay a penny more. President Biden wants to tax the rich. Congressional Republicans want to tax the rest.

The “plan” they are referencing is the Senator of Florida, Rick Scott’s plan; The Lady Snark shared the details of the plan back in February.

At 3:15 p.m. D.C., time a tweet was shared, but was quickly deleted…

The reason for the tweet being deleted is obvious, but I’m gonna share why anyway…

“As you file your taxes today, there’s a chance you’re paying a lower tax rate than a billionaire of large corporation. It’s unacceptable.”

What he “really” meant to say was a higher tax rate…

The tweet was not replaced; by my count I believe this is deleted tweet number 4.

In Monday’s Biden Bits I shared in full the fact-sheet the White House posted; This Tax Day, the President Is Fighting to Reward Work, Not Wealth, While Republicans Want to Increase Taxes on the Middle Class

President Biden’s White House Easter Egg Roll Tweets

His first tweet for Tuesday is also about the EGGucation Roll:

The video clip is 53 seconds long. It features a montage of images from round the event. The words spoken are taken from remarks the President and First Lady delivered to open the event. The YouTube is 2 minutes and 55 seconds long.

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden says: Good morning, and welcome to the Easter Egg Roll!  (Applause.)  The President and I are so excited that you are here

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden says: Education never stops.  The determined spirit of education is what we wanted to honor in this Easter Egg Roll.  So, we turned the South Lawn into a school community.

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden says: Welcome to your house, the People’s House.  Happy Easter!

President Biden says: Jill and I are excited to have you at the White House.  The — we weren’t able to host this Easter Egg Roll last year because of the pandemic.  But this year — this year, we’re finally getting together again, and it’s so special.  It means — it means so much to see and hear the children and all the families show up to be here today.

President Biden: To all of you, have fun today and welcome to the White House.  Welcome to your house.  Welcome to the South Lawn. Thank you and happy, happy Easter.  (Applause.)  All right.

For Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, President Biden has received his daily brief. This morning he conducted a secure video call with allies and partners to discuss our continued support of Ukraine. This afternoon President Biden will travel to New Hampshire where he will visit the New Hampshire Port Authority at Portsmouth Harbor. Later this afternoon he will deliver remarks on the historic investments in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that will Build a Better America and modernize our nation’s ports and waterways.

In Monday’s press briefing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki gave details of President Biden’s trip to New Hampshire.

Tomorrow, as you may know, the President is traveling to New Hampshire to highlight infrastructure investments to modernize our nation’s ports and waterways, and discuss how these investments will strengthen our supply chain, support local economies, and help cut costs for American families.

American ports are a cornerstone of the United States economy, but outdated infrastructure in the COVID-19 pandemic have strained their capacity and jeopardized global supply chains, which has caused delays and passed costs directly to consumers.

Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we now have $17 billion to upgrade, repair, and maintain our nation’s port infrastructure.

As the President continues to use every tool to help bring down prices for Americans, investments that strengthen domestic supply chains and move goods faster and more efficiently are critical to lowering costs for families.

So, during his trip tomorrow, he will visit Portsmouth Harbor, which is the only deep-water harbor in New Hampshire and handles approximately 3.[5] million tons and nearly $2 billion of cargo a year, including critical materials to support the local economy and clean energy production.

The port recently completed a project to widen the harbor’s turning basin and will receive funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to maintain safe and efficient operations along the channel — both crucial projects to accommodate larger ships and heavier loads of cargo.
