Watch Live: January 6th Committee Hearing…

Thursday marks the first hearing of the Committee investigating the January 6th attack on the Capitol.

According to their website tonight’s hearing will feature; previously unseen material documenting January 6th, receive witness testimony, and provide the American people an initial summary of its findings about the coordinated, multi-step effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and prevent the transfer of power. The committee will also preview additional hearings.

I had all kinds of ideas on how to cover tonight’s hearing, and then I saw this…

I refuse to join truth social so I can’t tell you if he actually 100 percent posted the above.

“The movement” was based on a lie. A lie that’s still being spewed today.

The election was not stolen.

The election was not rigged.

He lost. And he can’t accept it, and neither can his supporters.

Yeah, we all did it, we all attempted a coup!

Narrator: No we did not.

Now, you might be asking how come I shared both of those steaming hot pile of shit takes with you.

Because for this week and last I have seen the flashy tweeted out headline “Will the Hearing Change Minds!”

The answer is: probably not.

But that shouldn’t in my opinion by on the Committee to do.

This Committee’s goal should be to tell the American people the truth about how close we truly came to having a successful coup.

Twice Impeached 45, was intent on staying in office, he didn’t care what it cost or if lives would be lost. He simply feels like he was robbed and deserves to be President for life.

So for me, and me only, I don’t care if Trailer Trash Lovely or Penthouse Trash Dovey changes their minds about January 6th, they probably think the earth is flat too, that Elvis is still alive, and that both Kennedy’s are coming out of hiding to save us all.

What I do care about is that the Committee cuts through the bullshit and tells us the American people just how close we were to becoming The United Sates of Trump.
