It’s Tuesday…
Shitshow’s public schedule for…

Note: Puddle is overseas through at least Thursday. Expect overnight developments because the rest of the world refuses to operate on Pacific Time.
Before we get to the “Peace Deal” that isn’t actually a peace deal, Puddle announced a July 4th celebration for America’s 250th birthday. The event includes military bands, airshows, fireworks, and a speech by Puddle. He also describes it as “the most spectacular TRUMP RALLY of them all,” which feels like a pretty good summary of how this administration approaches literally everything.

Puddle says the playlist won’t include anyone who puts people to sleep. Given his recent track record at public events, he may be speaking from personal experience.
Next up: Iran. Specifically, the deal that appears to exist in several different forms depending on which post you’re reading. Puddle spent the weekend declaring victory, while most of the reporting describes a memorandum of understanding that opens another 60 days of negotiations. Those are not necessarily the same thing.
06/13/2026:

One thing about Puddle: he can never announce something that might be viewed as positive without immediately bashing someone else. It’s basically his brand.
06/14/2026:

Puddle is treating this like the deal is already done and everyone involved has agreed to behave themselves. The parties involved have not always shown the same level of confidence.

The details may still be getting worked out, but the victory lap started several posts ago.

The link is to a Bloomberg article that was posted by gCaptain on 06/05/2026:
By Tony Capaccio (Bloomberg) — American forces have counted nearly 1,000 commercial vessel transits in and out of the Strait of Hormuz in the last two months, according to an official familiar with US Central Command operations, a figure that’s higher than private sector estimates that rely mostly on ship transponders.
Military analysts measured the number of ship passages since a ceasefire took effect between the US and Iran on April 8 using continual air, sea and space surveillance deployed as part of the war against Iran, the official said, asking not to be identified to discuss data that hasn’t been made public. The bulk of the vessels are large cargo and container ships and the figure doesn’t count smaller craft, such as traditional dhows, they added.

Nothing says “current evidence” quite like a ten-day-old article discussing ship counts from the previous two months.
Tiff Talk:
The “Peace Deal” appears to be a memorandum of understanding. What’s in that memorandum? Excellent question. The administration hasn’t released it. Iran is describing the agreement as a major win. Puddle is describing it as a historic peace breakthrough.
JD Vance has indicated that sanctions relief and access to frozen Iranian funds could be part of the arrangement if Iran behaves.
So far, everyone involved seems to agree that a deal exists. What they don’t seem to agree on is what the deal actually says. Until the memo is released, we’re all arguing about a document nobody has seen.
The Hill reporter Julia Manchester said on Twitter the memo will be released in 24/48 hours.

In a series of interviews Monday, Vance also hinted at how the U.S. will attempt to ensure Iran does not develop or obtain a nuclear weapon, which Trump has long sought to prevent.
“If the Iranians are willing to give a long-term commitment — along with proper verification — to giving up that nuclear weapon, we’re willing to welcome them into the world economy to lift some sanctions and to turn over a new leaf in that relationship,” Vance said on “Good Morning America.”
Otherwise, the vice president said in a CNBC interview, the U.S. would continue to “apply the pressure that we’ve seen build up economically.”
While Vance described “technical things” that continue to be negotiated, he said the administration plans to release the full text of the memorandum of understanding “this week.”
