Seven months ago (can you believe it) Seven months ago five us gathered together on Twitter and joined in a virtual friendship that borders close to family in order to provide a voice, a voice for those of us wishing to be heard, for that I give my Thanks, for them I am grateful.
None of the work we do in this virtual world would be possible without each and every one of our posters, without our guest writers and our daily contributors, for that I give Thanks, for that I am grateful.
The hours we spend gathering articles, would also not be possible without our families, who listen to us bitch and moan about politics, Twitter, and yes, especially Trump, to them I give my Thanks, for them I am grateful.
Today we will gather with family and friends to break bread, to share memories of Thanksgivings’ past, to imagine future Holidays as new members are welcomed into our circles, for that I give Thanks, for that I am grateful.
Today we will remember God’s love as we should everyday, today we will give him our Thanks for providing us with family, love, home, food, for him I am grateful.
Today we will mostly in our own minds remember the promise of America, that Shining City on a Hill, that is blessed with liberty and freedom, for that I give my Thanks, for America I am grateful.
Remember as we venture out among our friends and families that they will always be our families and friends, regardless of tweets, or who sits in the Oval Office for that I am both Thankful and Grateful.
