Did Russia’s Interference Impact the Outcome of the 2016 Election?

It very well may have.

I know that’s a bold statement, but let’s take a closer look…

I think we can all agree at this point that the Russians were up to a lot of mischief in their attempts to affect our Presidential election in 2016.

Consider just one state that was critical in Trump’s win…Wisconsin. I choose Wisconsin because that is where I live and have been a voter and very highly involved in politics here for 25+ years.

Trump eeked out an unlikely win in Wisconsin. Not because everyone here flocked to his message and he flipped a lot of Democrat voters to his side…he didn’t even get as many votes in Wisconsin as Romney did in 2012.

He won Wisconsin because Hillary did even worse. She received 300,000+ votes LESS than Obama did in 2012. So, the next question to ask is, why?

First, Wisconsin was a huge Bernie state. Bernie crushed Hillary in the primary in Wisconsin. Many of the Bernie supporters despised Hillary.

However, the polls in Wisconsin a month or two out from the election still had Hillary up over Trump by 6-7 points. That’s why the Dems pretty much ignored Wisconsin.

So then what happened?

Wikileaks released the DNC emails that were obtained in the Russian hack of the DNC server. These emails confirmed that Bernie was intentionally screwed by the DNC in order to anoint Hillary.

The Bernie supporters were furious!

So much so that they did not come out and vote for Hillary…enough to have very possibly and plausibly flipped a very tight state like Wisconsin has always been.

And there you have it…how the Russian activities actually may very well have impacted the election.
