Larry Kudlow Suffers Heart Attack

On route to the summit with Kim Jong un, President Trump issued a tweet

Larry Kudlow the director of the National Economic Council suffered a “very mild heart,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement via The Hill, late Monday hours after President Trump’s tweet, she went on to say, he’s expected to make a “full and speedy recovery,” adding, “Larry is currently in good condition at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and his doctors expect he will make a full and speedy recovery. The president and his administration send their thoughts and prayers to Larry and his family.”

The Washington Post reported Monday, that his wife, Judith Kudlow, who would have preferred not to comment, but felt she needed to clarify his health status publicly, told them, Kudlow was “doing fine. The doctors here are fabulous.”

Kudlow had recently traveled with President Trump to the G7 summit in Canada, but returned back to the States instead of joining the President in Singapore.

Sunday found the seventy year old former CNBC commentator vigorously defending President Trump’s decision to back out of the joint communique that he’d signed before flying to Singapore to meet with Kim Jong un, stating first on CNN, that Trudeau “stabbed us in the back.”

The comments came after Prime Minster Trudeau announced retaliatory tariffs against the United States, starting on July 1st, in response to President Trump’s twenty-five percent tariffs on steel and ten percent on aluminum claiming it was for “national security.”

It is unclear how long Kudlow is expected to remain at Walter Reed Medical Center.
