Another Friday, another MAGA rally hosted by President Trump. This rally comes to us from Mesa, Arizona. According to AZ Central, this marks President Trump’s 10th trip to Arizona since 2015, but his first to the state since Aug. 22nd, 2017, “when he appeared at the Phoenix Convention Center.”
CBS News explains the “main focus” of President Trump’s visit to the state is “supporting the candidacy of Rep. Martha McSally,” whose challenger is Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D).
The event is scheduled to take place at the International Air Response hangar, which according to google reviews, holds 4,000 people inside and another 4,000 outside.
On Wednesday International Air Response posted a Facebook message writing they were “thrilled” that the President was holding his MAGA rally at their facility.
This MAGA rally comes a day after President Trump hosted an event from Montana, during that rally President Trump, praised, Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-MT) who pleaded guilty last year to assaulting a reporter, saying, “Any guy that can do a body slam, he’s my kind of guy. He’s my guy.”
President Trump is scheduled to hold another rally Saturday from Nevada, wrapping up this segment of four rallies, in Texas on Monday the 22nd of October.
