Tuesday the nation held its midterm elections. What we knew last night as the midnight hour approached was that the Democrats had enough votes to retake the House while the Republicans gained in the Senate widening their majority.

President Trump as votes were still being counted took to Twitter @ 11:14 p.m. to “thank you,” all for a “Tremendous success.”

Post midterm election Wednesday found President Trump tweeting @ 1:27 a.m., 1:37 a.m., and 1:47 a.m..

1:27 a.m. and 1:37 a.m. he quoted actor and economist Ben Stein.

1:49 a.m. he agreed with Fox News personality David Asman.

His next post election tweet came @ 6:21 a.m. in where he explains that he received “so many Congratulations,” from “foreign nations (friends)” on “our Big Victory,” last night.

@ 6:55 a.m. he congratulated the new Republican Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis.

The New York Times reports the vote tally for the race for Florida’s Governor:

Ron DeSantis 4,052,118 49.7%

Andrew Gillum 3,999,679 49.0%

With his next tweet at 7:07 a.m. President Trump explained that those that “worked with me” on the midterm election, who embraced, “certain policies and principles did very well,” he adds, “those that did not, say goodbye!” He continued to end the tweet with taking a big swipe against the “Nasty and Hostile Media!”

There will be more to come on this tweet later as the elections are certified as the counting is finished to see in what way there was “The Trump Effect.” At this moment it’s not truly possible to know if it was clearly embracing President Trump that led to victories for the Republicans.

For example The New York Times has incumbent Democrat Senator Jon Testor and his Republican Challenger Matt Rosendale currently separated by 2,993 votes with Rosendale leading. President Trump campaigned for Rosendale twice in Montana, but until a winner and the votes are all counted, it only shows that embracing Trump might give a narrow margin of victory to a Republican.

@ 7:36 President Trump via Twitter announced that he will be holding a news conference that “will be discussing our success in the Midterms!”

There will be a live feed provided for the press conference at the end of this article.

He tweets @ 7:52 a.m. that “FAKE NEWS” is the only way to describe any pundits or “talking heads” that refuse to “give us proper credit for this great Midterm Election.”

President Trump goes on to tweet @ 8:04 a.m. that “if the Democrats think they are going to waste Taxpayer Money,” on conducting investigation into “us” in the House. He might be forced to “likewise,” investigate “them for all of the leaks of Classified information and much else,” in the Senate. He ends this tweet by explaining “Two can play that game!”

As a reminder during the month of October President Trump held sixteen-plus campaign rallies, the first week of November he spent “Taxpayer Money,” by holding two campaign rallies a day, with Monday election eve finding the President traveling to three states to hold three MAGA campaign rallies. @ the News Blender covered the majority of his rallies live.

@ 8:31 a.m. President Trump explained that Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House.” He went on to explain that if the Democrats, “give her a hard time,” that “perhaps we will add some Republican votes.” President Trump concluded his tweet by saying, “She has earned this great honor.”

@ 10:39 a.m. he is back with an oldie but a goodie!

Trump Twitter Archive has his last “witch hunt” tweet being issued on October 16th, 2018.

The NBC News exit poll shows that 42 percent approve of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s handling of the Russian investigation while 45 percent disapprove. This according to NBC News is based on nationwide voters.
