Senate Passes Resolution to Terminate Emergency Border Wall Declaration

Thursday the Senate voted to support a House passed Resolution that would terminate President Trump’s Emergency Declaration setting the stage for the President to issue his first veto of his term.

C-Span reports via tweet that 12 Republicans joined all Democrats in supporting the termination.

Notable Senators that voted against the termination:

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC).

Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE).
