Trump Tweets Open Thread Featuring the Mueller Report

It’s Thursday.

Attorney General William Barr held a press conference prior to the release of the Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian Investigation Report.

The report has now been released. Updated to include the report with both volume 1 and volume 2.

Ahead of it’s release following the spin of Barr at his presser the President tweeted.

As my reading of the report is slow. Here are some Twitter takes on what we’ve learned so far.

Page 370: "The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests."

The Report is clear on pp1-2 that Mueller was 100% guided by doj policy that a sitting President could not be indicted. Barr was deeply misleading in his initial 4 page letter. And that’s why Mueller could not recommend charges even if he thought them warranted.
