We have entered the 37th day of the Impeachment Inquiry.
As the News Blender reported Monday the House announced they were introducing rules that would apply to the public phase of the Impeachment Inquiry.
On Thursday the House debated the rules resolution followed by a vote.
Ahead of, during, and after the vote, the President tweeted 12 times and retweeted 6 times. So far.
“Now is the time for Republicans to stand together and defend the leader of their party against these smears. It would be one thing if there were any indication of an underlying crime, but there is not-not in the transcripts, and not in the secret witness testimony that…..— Donald J. …..the Dems have selectively leaked. Nor was there any corrupt intent on the part of the President. Remember, the President knew that that call was being heard and documented by many people. Anyone with intent would be a tad more discreet, don’t you think? This farce should….— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 31, 2019
…never be allowed to roll into a winter showtrial. Indeed, allowing a long, drawn out trial in the Senate would merely validate and perpetuate the fraud begun in the House. The crisis is of the Democrats own making, and it’s up to Republicans to make sure this never happens….— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 31, 2019

And stand by their man they did, but the telling aspect of the standing by President Trump was that they bashed the process, not one that I heard actually disputed that President Trump did what the Impeachment Inquiry is regarding. Not one Republican on the floor today said he didn’t do it, they just said the process wasn’t fair.

Former Trump AG Says "Abuse of Power Is Not a Crime" https://t.co/sPceq0Yv4r— Snip🦈Bytes (@SnipBytes) October 23, 2019
If the President is impeached in the House, convicted in the Senate, he will be an impeached President. Not Impeached Donald Trump, but former President Donald Trump who was impeached.
Bill Clinton was impeached in the House, he is still treated as the former President, with the * by his name.
Even Richard Nixon is still called President Nixon, with the * by his name and the reminder that to avoid impeachment he resigned.
Impeachment does not undo an election, it is designed to remove a President that abuses his or her office while being the dully elected President. Or Vice President. Or a Federal Judge.

People are VERY disappointed in Jay Powell and the Federal Reserve. The Fed has called it wrong from the beginning, too fast, too slow. They even tightened in the beginning. Others are running circles around them and laughing all the way to the bank. Dollar & Rates are hurting…— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 31, 2019
….our manufacturers. We should have lower interest rates than Germany, Japan and all others. We are now, by far, the biggest and strongest Country, but the Fed puts us at a competitive disadvantage. China is not our problem, the Federal Reserve is! We will win anyway.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 31, 2019
As the News Blender reported on Wednesday the Federal Reserve lowered interests rates for the third time since July.
This is not the first time the President has pushed for zero or negative interest rates, as CNBC News explains, “Trump argues that the current rates put the U.S. at a competitive disadvantage to other countries, and touts the historically low levels of inflation as evidence that the economy is well-positioned to handle such low borrowing rates.”
