So far for Monday *President Donald Trump has tweeted 3 times and retweeted 2 times.
*President Donald J. Trump Impeached in the House of December 18th, 2019.*
The Democrat Party in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia are working hard to take away your 2nd Amendment rights. This is just the beginning. Don’t let it happen, VOTE REPUBLICAN in 2020!

Virginia Gun Rally Begins – https://t.co/f2OEukSbHD
— TheNewsBlender (@TheNewsBlender) January 20, 2020
The event being held in Virginia is an annual event that this year has drawn extra attention as the News Blender reported, “Pro-gun individuals throughout the country have been told multiple lies about Virginia legislation, and those falsehoods have led to a national concern for gun rights in Virginia. An outright gun ban and door-to-door confiscation have been widely – and incorrectly – reported as being planned by the Governor and legislators.”
At the time of the articles publication no violence has been reported and the rally is peaceful.
They didn’t want John Bolton and others in the House. They were in too much of a rush. Now they want them all in the Senate. Not supposed to be that way!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 20, 2020
What the Democrats didn’t want was a long drawn out court battle as the former National Security Adviser John Bolton explained that he would only testify if he was subpoenaed and a court ordered the enforcement of that Congressional subpoena thus compelling Bolton to testify.
I have posted a brief statement regarding testimony on the Ukraine impeachment matter before the Senate at: https://t.co/Q3TwI2BzBp
— John Bolton (@AmbJohnBolton) January 6, 2020
From the January 6th, statement Bolton explains, “Accordingly, since my testimony is once again at issue, I have had to resolve the serious competing issues as best I could, based on careful consideration and study. I have concluded that, if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony, I am prepared to testify.”
It’s unclear if Bolton is willing to comply with the subpoena without involving the courts.
Cryin’ Chuck Schumer is now asking for “fairness”, when he and the Democrat House members worked together to make sure I got ZERO fairness in the House. So, what else is new?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 20, 2020
What else is new?
Nothing as the President is once again whining on Twitter about the unfairness in which Republican House members on the three committees were allowed to question the witnesses, as the Intelligence Committee publicly held hearing to allow both Republicans and the American public to hear the behind-closed-door testimony for several key witness, and then once the House Intelligence Committee turned over their finding to the House Judiciary the President and his legal team were invited to present their own case to the public. The President and his legal team declined. Yep, totally an unfair process.

As a reminder: On Tuesday at 1 p.m. eastern the Senate will convene to resume the Senate trial regarding removal of the now Impeached President.
After he whined about himself the President has now retweeted the White House acknowledging Civil Rights icon, Dr. Martin Lurther King, Jr.
“Today, we pause to honor the incredible life and accomplishments of Dr. King, who helped shape the Civil Rights Movement, gave hope to millions experiencing discrimination, and whose enduring memory inspires us to pursue a more just and equal society.” — President Trump pic.twitter.com/tsjpBicT57

This post is unlikely to be updated as the author of the post (that’s me), has received the keys to her new home and has much adulting to do this week to prepare for moving-in-days the following week.
This is an Open Thread.
Update. (I lied apparently sorry.)
USA! USA! USA!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 20, 2020
I really have nothing to give this any kind of context, I guess maybe we should just be grateful he didn’t delete this tweet twice to fix something wrong like he did on Saturday.
….BUT THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 19, 2020
Yes, it took him 3 tries to get it right. His Twitter feed that I normally keep open 24/7 refreshed so I only have the Trump Twitter Archive sentences that show this tweet has been removed 2 times, before finally sticking on the third.
