It’s Tuesday aka Safe Harbor Day.

There are 6 days to go before Monday, December 14th, 2020, when the official Electoral College vote will take place.

For What Fresh Hell is This?, Day 34, President Who Hates the Majority of the Country Because We Don’t Love Him Enough, has tweeted 4 times and retweeted 5 times so far.

12:15 a.m. D.C., time.

1. Shares an OAN clip that is 6 minutes and 1 second long.

The story is centered around this tweet posted on December 4th, by Republican Congressman from Georgia, Jody Hice.

OAN tracked the source of the story about Dominion machines in Ware County, GA, it was a voter integrity group called Voter GA. OAN talked with founder Garland Favorito, who said, that part of the story is true, whereas some of the story is not accurate.

Favorito: What’s right is that 37 votes did appear to have been flipped by the Dominion [he says the model number, but it’s not very clear] in Ware County. We know that from the results that the elections division at the county gave us between the hand count audit and the original election results that were created by the Dominion machine.

Favorito: What’s wrong though is that the speculation that someone had to get a machine run all kinds of forensics on it to determine that. That never happened. That wasn’t necessary. Favorito goes on to explain he believe maleware was at issue.

He goes on to explain that the mistake of the 37 votes switched raises questions about the use of the Dominion machine used in other battleground states.

In fairness, the first 3 ish minutes of the report, is not crazy, or tin-foil hat, but the last 3 minutes gets into the whole tin-foil hatness that is the 2020 Presidential Election cycle from hell.

On December 6th, 2020, Gabriel Sterling, a Republican from GA, who has pushed back against the wild claims that somehow, he and the Secretary of State also Republican, along with the Governor who is a Republican somehow rigged the election against President GOP Cult Leader, to favor President-Elect Biden, pushed by against Hice’s tweet.

AP News on Monday fact-checked Hice’s claim writing that the 37 vote difference “between the results of an initial vote count and a hand recount in Ware County, Georgia, resulted from a human tabulation error that was quickly flagged and amended, according to Ware County Elections Supervisor Carlos Nelson. There is no evidence for claims that Dominion machines “switched” or “flipped” votes in the 2020 election. A forensic audit of Dominion voting machines used in the 2020 election in Georgia found “no sign of foul play,” according to the Georgia secretary of state’s office.”

Nelson explained that an election worker made a small tabulation error on election night. The error was discovered during an internal audit. The machine recount resulted in the same numbers as the hand recount.

According to Nelson, an election worker made a small tabulation error on election night involving 37 votes out of about 14,000 cast for president in Ware County.

Election officials caught the error during an internal audit, Nelson said. They corrected it during a full hand recount of paper ballots. A machine recount requested by Trump resulted in the same numbers as the hand recount, giving officials confidence in those results.

AP News. 12/07/2020.

According to the article, Voter GA held a presser on December 3rd, where they misrepresented the human error as a machine error.

Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said in statement, [I can’t find the date of this statement] that during a machine audit using forensic techniques, they found “no sign of foul play.”

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger last week ordered Pro V&V, a U.S. Election Assistance Commission certified testing laboratory, to do an audit of a random sample of machines to confirm no hack or tamper: “Pro V&V found no evidence of the machines being tampered.”

“We are glad but not surprised that the audit of the state’s voting machines was an unqualified success,” said Secretary Raffensperger. “Election security has been a top priority since day one of my administration. We have partnered with the Department of Homeland Security, the Georgia Cyber Center, Georgia Tech security experts, and wide range of other election security experts around the state and country so Georgia voters can be confident that their vote is safe and secure.”

On Monday the Secretary of States Office issued another statement debunking the claim that it was machine error not human error that caused the votes to flip.

The Secretary of State’s Office said Monday there is no truth to allegations circulating in social media that voting machines in Ware County had been seized or that they somehow revealed tampering.

“This is another of the falsehoods being pedaled by conspiracy advocates trying to convince the gullible of why the presidential election didn’t turnout as they’d hoped,” said Walter Jones, the office’s communications manager for voter education and a conservative former journalist. “No voting machines have been seized. No one has unearthed evidence of ‘vote flipping’ because it didn’t happen. And no one has discovered some secret algorithm for altering the election outcome because that’s nonsense.”

A statewide hand recount as part of a post-election audit resulted in a difference of 37 additional votes for the president in Ware County. That totals 0.26 percent, well below the average 1-2 percent variation demonstrated by academic research when comparing the accuracy of manual counts compared to machine counts because of normal human error.

This small vote change is evidence of humans being less precise than machines at counting, and nothing more. To allege that it somehow proves the machines flipped votes is irresponsible and reckless, Jones said. The results of the hand recount statewide would have showed a consistent variation similar to the one in Ware County if there really had been a secret algorithm. Instead, the hand recount showed the machine totals substantially reflected the plain text printed on the ballots.
Ware County Election Supervisor Carlos Nelson pooh-poohed the conspiracy theory as instead a “human-error tabulation issue.”
“I can tell you this is —I don’t want to cuss — this is a darned lie. Our vote machines are secure. There’s no vote-flips,” he told Politico on Monday.

3. Bags on former Senator from Arizona Jeff Flake.

The Washington Post reported on *Monday that President Petulant petulantly phoned the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Bryan Cutler twice where he made “an extraordinary request for help reversing his loss in the state, reflecting a broadening pressure campaign by the president and his allies to try to subvert the 2020 election result.”

Culter’s office confirmed the calls making PA the third state, “where Trump has directly attempted to overturn a result since he lost the election to former vice president Joe Biden. He previously reached out to Republicans in Michigan, and on Saturday he pressured Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) in a call to try to replace that state’s electors.”

The president’s outreach to Pennsylvania’s Republican House leader came after his campaign and its allies decisively lost numerous legal challenges in the state in both state and federal court. Trump has continued to press his baseless claims of widespread voting irregularities both publicly and privately.

Washington Post. 12/08/2020-12/07/2020.

Michael Straub, Cutler’s spokesman is quoting as saying; The president said, ‘I’m hearing about all these issues in Philadelphia, and these issues with your law.  ‘What can we do to fix it?’

President Petulant according to Straub was told that the legislature had “no power to overturn the chosen slate of electors. Straub says he wasn’t on the calls, but was briefed later. The White House, shocking no one, declined to comment on the story.

*the article date says December 8th, however the article linked in Flakes tweet that was posted at 10:35 p.m. D.C., time on Monday takes me to today’s dated article.*
