What Fresh Hell is This? Wednesday’s Open Thread

It’s Wednesday aka New Years Eve-Eve.

One week from today Congress meets to count the electors cast for President of the United States following the November 3rd, 2020 Presidential election cycle. As it stands President-Elect Biden has 306 Electoral Votes with Impeached Asshole coming in at 232 Electoral Votes.

We are in What Fresh Hell is This?, Day 56.

For What Fresh Hell is This?, Day 56, the Impeached Fired One-term President has tweeted 10 times and retweeted 1 time so far.

Before we take a look at what the Idiot late-night tweeted, we need to take a look at two tweets sent Tuesday @ 11:44 p.m. D.C., time.

Just allow us to find the crime…

Let’s recap what’s gone on in Georgia.

Reuters reported on November 19th, 2020 that a Georgia hand audit confirmed that President-Elect Joe Biden had won the states 16 electoral votes.

The audit, launched after unofficial results showed Biden leading Republican President Donald Trump by about 14,000 out of more than 5 million votes cast, ended with Biden winning by 12,284, according to data from [Brad] Raffensperger’s office.

“The audit confirmed that the original machine count accurately portrayed the winner of the election,” the secretary of state’s office said in a statement on Thursday evening.

The changes to the vote totals were “well within the expected margin of human error that occurs when hand-counting ballots,” it said.

Reuters. 11/19/2020.

Following the legally required hand audit, the Trump campaign requested a hand recount. On December 7th, 2020, The Hill reported the hand recount affirmed President-Elect Biden’s win.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) is quoted as saying; It’s been 34 days since the election on Nov. 3. We have now counted legally cast ballots three times and the results remain unchanged.

On the 14th of December Raffensperger announced that Cobb County would undergo a signature audit following reports the county failed to follow Georgia signature verification procedures. At the time Raffensperger said the audit would not change the outcome of the election and that it would take two weeks to complete.

On Tuesday local Georgia reporter Brendan Keefe tweeted that the audit found “Cobb County election officials got it right 99.9 percent of the time.”

I’ll skip the background of the report and focus on the finding.

Georgia SoS/Georgia Bureau of Investigation ABM Signature Audit Report. 12/29/2020.

Three times Georgia counted votes, three times the results were the same President-Elect Biden won the state, the first Democrat since President Bill Clinton in 1992. Georgia’s state electors have been certified for former Vice President Joe Biden and will be counted on January 6th, 2021 in D.C..

None of the above touches on the court cases in Georgia, which Tubby-Tele filed and subsequently lost. You can find those court cases @ Democracy Docket.

With that out of the way we can move on to the second tweet, which is threaded with the above tweet…

consent decree…

AP News on November 15th, 2020, fact checked the “consent decree” worse than the Iran Deal [ 🙄 ].

From the AP article; There is nothing in the consent decree that prevents Georgia election clerks from scrutinizing signatures. The legal settlement signed in March addresses accusations about a lack of statewide standards for judging signatures on absentee ballot envelopes.

From the consent decree:

Consent Decree. 03/06/2020. pg. 3.

Now it turns out that Brad R’s brother works for China, and they definitely don’t want “Trump”…

They aren’t brothers, the theory they are floated before Christmas, with local reporter Stephen Fowler debunking the claim on December 23rd, 2020.

It turns out that he does have a brother. Not named Ron.

GPB News has confirmed via public documents and records that Raffensperger does have four siblings, including a brother, but none of them are named Ron, none work for Chinese technology companies nor have any ties to voting machine vendors used by Georgia to conduct its elections or to count five million votes three separate times to confirm that Joe Biden won the state’s electoral votes

GPB. 12/30/2020.

President Needs Help Badly is scheduled to hold a rally in Georgia on Monday January 4th, 2021.

Now that’s out of the way we can plow through the Idiotic Twats Tweets for Wednesday.

12:57 a.m. D.C., time.

1. Mad at the Wall Street Journal.
2. Says the Presidential Election was “Rigged”, no it wasn’t.
3. Tells us to “STAY TUNED!”.

I found one editorial at the Wall Street Journal that might be what he’s referencing.

On December 29th, 2020, the WSJ Editorial Board wrote:

Mr. Trump lost his re-election bid even as Republicans did better down-ballot because more voters liked his policies than liked him. The President hewed to a largely conservative agenda as long as he needed to maintain GOP support. But now that he’ll soon leave Washington, he’s throwing that over to punish Republicans and anyone else who refuses to indulge his fantasies about overturning the election.

[they share a tweet from yesterday wherein Credit Taker said because of him Republican senators]

“Can you imagine if the Republicans stole a Presidential Election from the Democrats – All hell would break out,” Mr. Trump tweeted on Tuesday from Florida. “Republican leadership only wants the path of least resistance. Our leaders (not me, of course!) are pathetic. They only know how to lose! P.S. I got MANY Senators.”

Actually, GOP Sen. David Perdue won more votes and a bigger vote share than Mr. Trump did in Georgia, and Mr. Trump was the first Republican to lose the state since 1992. Susan Collins also did better in Maine. Meanwhile, Mr. Trump’s personal and political unpopularity helped to drag down incumbent Cory Gardner in Colorado.

The political damage to the GOP comes from Donald Trump, who is lashing out at all and sundry in defeat—no matter if it also helps to elect a Democratic Senate.

WSJ Editorial Board. 12/29/2020.

The printed edition of this editorial appeared in today’s WSJ.

There is another Editorial Board opinion piece written on December 28th, 2020.

A quick snip; By all accounts Mr. Trump is angry about his election defeat, and he is lashing out at anyone who won’t indulge his hopeless campaign to overturn it. This includes Senate Republicans, who need to win in Georgia to retain their majority and block Mr. Biden’s ability to indulge the Democratic left. Mr. Trump’s narcissism isn’t news

4. Shares a “New Lott study”.

After some tech issues, Chrome not allowing me to view the PDF, which I managed to view incognito and via Firefox here is the basis for the “report”.

This study provides measures of vote fraud in the 2020 presidential election. It first compares Fulton county’s precincts that are adjacent to similar precincts in neighboring counties that had no allegations of fraud to isolate the impact of Fulton county’s vote-counting process (including potential fraud). In measuring the difference in President Trump’s vote share of the absentee ballots for these adjacent precincts, we account for the difference in his vote share of the in-person voting and the difference in registered voters’ demographics. The best estimate shows an unusual 7.81% drop in Trump’s percentage of the absentee ballots for Fulton County alone of 11,350 votes, or over 80% of Biden’s vote lead in Georgia. The same approach is applied to Allegheny County in Pennsylvania for both absentee and provisional ballots. The estimated number of fraudulent votes from those two sources is about 55,270 votes.

Lott study. 12/29/2020.

Keep in mind that the original count of votes, plus two additional counts, showed that President-Elect Biden won GA, that irregularities found were caused by human error and not mass voter fraud.

More from the report:

Courts have frequently rejected Republican challenges to the 2020 presidential vote because they want evidence that a case involves enough fraud to alter the vote’s outcome in a particular state. Republicans argue that since their observers couldn’t watch the vote count, they can’t provide that evidence and have asked for discovery. Still, while the courts have agreed that irregularities have occurred, they weren’t willing to grant discovery unless Republicans first present enough evidence of fraud to overturn the election. Republicans thus faced a kind of Catch 22.

This paper’s approach allows us to quantify how large a potential problem vote fraud and other abnormalities might be in the 2020 election. The process is applicable to other states where precinct-level data is available on voting by absentee and in-person voting.

Lott study. 12/29/2020.

This is our stopping point; Part of the controversy with Fulton County’s absentee ballots arises from a burst pipe that resulted in the removal of poll watchers. According to the Chair of the Georgia Republican Party, David J. Shafer, “counting of ballots took place in secret after Republican Party observers were dismissed because they were advised that the tabulation center was shutting down for the night” (Letter dated November 10, 2020 from Doug Collins and David Shafer to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, p. 3).

The pipe leaked, not burst, and it happened election morning in the State Farm Arena. Poll Watchers were not asked to leave, they followed the media out, when the opening of ballots was concluded. No counting of ballots was done in “secret”, that has been debunked several times.

7:29 a.m. D.C., time.

5. Tells us that based on something that says President Ego Be Trippin’ is the most admired man ahead of former President Obama and President-Elect Joe Biden…
6. It proves the election was “RIGGED!”.

The something his tweet is based on, is a Gallup Poll, that says he’s beaten President Obama, and President-Elect Joe Biden as the most admired man. The survey was conducted between December 1st-17th. They surveyed by telephone 1,018 adults. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points.

Gallup Poll. 12/29/2020.

For What It’s worth for Gallup; Even though Trump is similarly unpopular now — 39% approve of his performance — his dominant performance among Republicans, contrasted with Democrats splitting their choices among multiple public figures, pushes him to the top of the 2020 most admired man list.

7:43 a.m. D.C., time.

7. Says it’s not his job to make sure the people get the covid-19 vaccine.

NBC News on Tuesday reported that “the Trump administration’s Covid-19 vaccine distribution program needs a major shot in the arm because at the current rate, it would take almost 10 years to inoculate enough Americans to get the pandemic under control, a jarring new NBC News analysis showed Tuesday.”

According to their review in order to get the U.S., to 80 percent of the population vaccinated by late June, more than 3 million people a day would need to receive a vaccine.

The goal of Operation Warp Speed…is to ensure that 80 percent of the country’s 330.7 million people get the shots by late June.

To meet that goal, a little more than 3 million people would have to get the shots each day, the math shows.

But so far, only about 2 million people — most of them front-line health care workers and some nursing home residents — have gotten their first shots of the 11.5 million doses that were delivered in the last two weeks, a review by NBC News of data from federal and state agencies showed.

NBC News. 12/29/2020.

This is the same story he told us before, it’s the states job to ensure everything runs smoothly in order for him to take credit. On Tuesday shortly after the NBC News report was published, President No Responsibility for the Bad Things tweeted…

8:20 a.m. D.C., time.

8. Pushes $2,000 stimulus money, again.

9:26 a.m. D.C., time.
10:45 a.m. D.C., time.

9. Says “hearings” are happening in Georgia on the “Georgia Election overturn.”
10. Same thing.

The hearing went like the other hearings which weren’t hearings and had no legal ability to overturn the certified election results.

For example:

UPDATE:

Live to Annoy Us, has tweeted 3 more times in just around 6 minutes.

11. He’s man of the year…

According to Africa World Newspaper

I can’t tell if this is real, fake, or if he was being punked. However, here is some snips from the opinion piece written by McOllus Ndhomu.

Donald Trump as 45th president of the United States is probably the toughest of his challenges. What strikes us more is his practical approach to issues affecting humanity especially Africa. In September, 2017 when he parleyed with leaders of nine African countries, President Trump spelt out his foreign policy on the continent. He recognised six African countries as among ten fastest growing economies. Among the key points he mentioned include shared prosperity, security, peace and health. He even went as far as telling the African leaders about their efforts despite obstacles. It was a simple and candid talk from a Western leader.
Champion

Many criticize President Trump about his tweets, but he is a courageous leader who says or takes issues head-on. At the start of his first tenure, he frowned at an America that had failed many of its citizens. He described the hopelessness of families trapped in poverty, an ineffective education system, and crime, drugs and gangs. And to shame his critics, over four million jobs within two years, and minorities especially African migrants benefited.
Fearless Leader

President Trump’s foreign policy is not found peddling colonialism and planting neo-colonialists. He has gone in history as the White House occupant who never waged any war and as a leader who wanted Africa to develop at its own pace.
Inspirational

Supremacy of God
A great appeal for us in AfricaWorld Newspaper is the greatest reason, because it is at the centre of our existence. President Donald Trump recognises God as the Supreme and King of Kings, and has shown practical steps to guarantee freedom of worship. We love God and believe in him

12. Whines about Twitter meanness. “Political leadership,” he says is either “afraid or stupid,” regarding Big Tech.

He’s *checks notes* President of the United States *for 20 more days*, does he not get he is “political leadership”? [Rhetorical].

2:06 p.m. D.C., time.

13. Shouts at us.

He is either A) calling on his “supporters” aka “cult members”, B) Announcing his intent to be at the Senate while Biden becomes the official President-Elect for the dozenth time, or C) He will be watching on TV while his supporters fuck things up in D.C., and GOP Senators and Congressmen alike show their asses to please their cult leader. The D) option is a combo of A, B, and C, or all of the above.

Senator Haw-Haw (totally stole that from Blender poster TY, thank you), announced a week in advance that he intends to show his ass on Wednesday January 6th, 2021.

UPDATE 2:

And like that we are back again, this time, the Sitting Assface, decided to mock the whole country, again.

2:38 p.m. D.C., time.

Using two sources; Infoplease says that total population of those 18 and over is 281,421,906 while Kids Count Data Center says as of 2019 the 18 and over population was 255,200,373.

Using the New York Times election map for the total combined votes cast for President in 2020:
Biden 81,283,098.
Trump 74,222,958.
combo: 155,506,056.
Difference between Info Please and vote total =’s 125,915,040.
Difference between Kids Count Data Center and vote total =’s 99,694,317.

Either way doing *math and a tiny bit of Googling shows that the United States did not have more votes than it had people voting.
*I hate math, I’m not good at it, my figures are based on data points from just the two sources, I can add and subtract.*

one not even fit for third world countries!

People in other countries have dead attempting to achieve what is given to the people of the U.S., not only is he offending America, he is offending the world. Asshole’s gonna asshole I guess.

I still have no public guidance for either Impeached Moron or President-Elect Biden, I’m going to work on getting better at finding those, in the New Year.

This post might be updated.

We can close the Trump Tweets endless chapter of stupid in this many days…
