Watch Live: Senate Impeachment Trial, Day 11

Friday, January 31, 2020 is day 11 of President Impeached‘s rigged Senate trial.

According to the New York Times, today’s schedule in accordance to the McConnell senate impeachment rules now move to the “Debating whether to debate about witnesses” phase.

Under the rules, there would first be a four-hour debate — two hours for each side — on whether motions about specific witnesses and documents are in order, followed by a vote. If Republicans succeed in defeating that motion, they would move quickly to final votes on the two articles of impeachment.

I worked with other senators to make sure that we have the right to ask for more documents and witnesses, but there is no need for more evidence to prove something that has already been proven and that does not meet the U.S. Constitution’s high bar for an impeachable offense.1/15
