Another Monday another evening presser featuring President Impeached, Vice President Mike Pence aka a robot, *Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Birx aka Vanna White, plus a special President Impeached kiss ass aka a cabinet member.
White House news conference today at 5:00 P.M. Eastern. Thank you!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 13, 2020
*I can’t say for 100 percent certainty that Dr. Fauci will be present at today’s presser.*
As noted in the Trump Tweets thread, President Impeached had a busy weekend on Twitter. According to Trump Twitter Archive for Saturday and Sunday, President Impeached tweeted *44 times and retweeted 31 times.
*The count also includes tweets deleted.*
No worries, we will not cover them, not even most of them, but a few are likely to make their presence known in Monday’s pressers.
He spent the majority of his weekend bashing the news specifically two separate New York Times articles.
So now the Fake News @nytimes is tracing the CoronaVirus origins back to Europe, NOT China. This is a first! I wonder what the Failing New York Times got for this one? Are there any NAMED sources? They were recently thrown out of China like dogs, and obviously want back in. Sad!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2020
The article published on April 8th, stated that according to two separate research studies, the outbreak that is crippling New York city, seems to be traced back to travelers mid-February who traveled from Europe, not Asia.
Nowhere in the article does it say the origins of the disease didn’t come from China, in fact the title of the article is, “Most New York Coronavirus Cases Came From Europe, Genomes Show.”
The sources of the story came from a geneticist from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Harm van Bakel. The other came from N.Y.U. Grossman School of Medicine. Each study focused on a different group of people but came to a similar finding. The Bakel co-written study is awaiting peer review.
The @nytimes story is a Fake, just like the “paper” itself. I was criticized for moving too fast when I issued the China Ban, long before most others wanted to do so. @SecAzar told me nothing until later, and Peter Navarro memo was same as Ban (see his statements). Fake News!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 13, 2020
The second New York Times article was published on Saturday. This article contained emails, the showed experts were trying to warn President Impeached that the disease known as COVID-19 was going to be bad.
The group calling themselves “Red Dawn,” either after the 1984 or 2012 remake of a movie about a foreign army U.S. invasion, attempted to warn President Impeached that he needed to move faster with social distancing, banning gatherings of more than 10 people, and needed to close the schools. The warnings came end of January and into February.
Axios reported on April 7th economic adviser Peter Navarro issued his own warnings about the coronavirus and the potential for it to become a pandemic.
Raising eyebrows and leading to speculation that President Impeached was possibly leaning toward “firing,” Dr. Fauci was this tweet sent Sunday evening D.C. time.
Sorry Fake News, it’s all on tape. I banned China long before people spoke up. Thank you @OANN https://t.co/d40JQkUZg5— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 12, 2020
BREAKING: WH says Pres Trump "is not firing Dr Fauci" and "media chatter is ridiculous."— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) April 13, 2020
See, kids, it’s fake news to report what President Impeached is tweeting. Maybe the baby should pay attention to what he or his interns are tweeting and retweeting? Just a thought.
Dr. Fauci on Sunday seemed to confirm the Times story that yes, going sooner on social distancing would have been a good thing, but he stopped short of laying the blame on President Impeached.
Before President Impeached raised eyebrows with his hashtag misuse, he tweeted that Governors needed to “be ready,” because “big things are happening.”
Governors, get your states testing programs & apparatus perfected. Be ready, big things are happening. No excuses! The Federal Government is there to help. We are testing more than any country in the World. Also, gear up with Face Masks!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 12, 2020
The above tweet along with two he issued Monday morning as seen in the Trump Tweets thread, in which he’s both the States back-up and in fact in charge of when they lift their stay at home orders, are likely to be asked about this evening.
On Sunday President Impeached also explained that he is working hard, not on the coronavirus, silly, but…
I am working hard to expose the corruption and dishonesty in the Lamestream Media. That part is easy, the hard part is WHY?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 13, 2020
On Saturday he also once again without evidence explained the danger of vote by mail.
Mail in ballots substantially increases the risk of crime and VOTER FRAUD!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 12, 2020
Which will likely prompt questions regarding the United States Postal Services financial trouble.
One tweet that most likely will not be brought up, but should be…
For the first time in history there is a fully signed Presidential Disaster Declaration for all 50 States. We are winning, and will win, the war on the Invisible Enemy!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 12, 2020
He should be so proud.
